At Butterstile Primary School, we value and recognise the uniqueness of each individual child and acknowledge their fundamental right to be educated to their full potential in a safe, secure and caring environment. In partnership with parents and the extended community we aim to make each day count for all.
We take the view that regular attendance is important to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for all of our children. Good attendance promotes self-discipline, respect for others and enables children to fully participate in school life, enjoy and achieve and feel a valued member of the school community.

If your child is going to be absent from school, it is vital that you contact the school office as early as possible on that day.
Please be aware that if we have not had a reason for absence, we will attempt to make contact with you via Parent Hub, telephone or home visit.
